Dr. Jason Zimmerman, originally from the Greater Toronto Area, was inspired by his father, a general dentist, and his own positive orthodontic experience. Orthodontic treatment as a teenager gave him newfound self-confidence and opportunities, and he wanted to dedicate his life to providing those same opportunities to others and change the lives of his patients for the better. He earned his Bachelor of Science with Honors and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Western University, and a Master of Science in Craniofacial Sciences and a Diploma in Orthodontics from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Zimmerman has also published many publications spanning Biochemistry, Dentistry, and Orthodontics, and still remains a reviewer to multiple orthodontic journals.

Board-certified in both Canada and the United States, Dr. Zimmerman is known for his meticulous approach to orthodontics. He understands that even the small details of your smile matter, which is why he is the choice of many who work in front of the camera. He remains committed to continuous education and is actively involved in professional associations. Recently, Dr. Zimmerman has been invited to join the Angle Society, the most prestigious orthodontic study club worldwide, which one can only gain membership by invitation.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Zimmerman mentors aspiring dentists and orthodontists, sharing his knowledge through lectures. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his family—his wife, Dr. Fernanda Barona, and their sons, Benjamin and Ethan. They love skiing, traveling, trying new and exciting foods, and exploring new interests together.
